Gravity, it’s aroma is powerful and it sits there haunting the pint with orangey red blends.
At first swig it’s got a distinct flowery taste, fruity even, and smacks three pints of this and you’ll be merry as a pig in shit.
I’m liking this immediately, but then I enjoy strong individual tastes, Oakham Ales Gravity is definalty one to enjoy on it’s own, I offer a taste to a friend who rejects saying it’s got too much kick, but I’m in the mood to put a beer coat on and it’s doing a great job.
Gravity has all the right notes to be a perfect summer evening pint or four, I’d imagine it would stand up well in highstreet bars and clubs, it’s got the appearance and name that shys from a typical ale, after a few of these it’s good to take a brisk walk and open the lungs, happy beers.
My Rating: 6/10
Hops used: Amarillo, Cascade, Centennial, Liberty
ABV: 5.1%
